Community Police Officers

Community Police Officers (CPO's)
East Bay Township has two Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Deputies assigned to patrol the Township. The current Township CPO's are Deputy Zachary Root and Deputy Kole Rosa. More than likely, when a citizen in East Bay Township calls for police assistance, an East Bay Township CPO will be the officer who responds to the scene.

CPO's handle many traditional officer-related duties, and network with the Township business owners, Homeowner Associations, and the staff at the local schools and their teachers and principals.

Feel free to contact East Bay Township's CPO's for any reason, whether to file a complaint or just to say hello. The CPO's office is located at the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Station #9 at 110 High Lake Road. Due to patrolling, officers are not always in the office, but citizens can leave a voice message at any time, and deputies will return the call at their earliest ability.

In any emergency, call 911.

Ordinances
General law ordinances, such as the Junk, Noise and Fireworks Ordinances can be found on Documents on Demand. If you have any questions, please call our Community Police Officer's at (231) 947-3631.
