Please take care of your dog!!
The Grand Traverse County Animal Control Ordinance Section 401 states: No person shall intentionally, or by failure to exercise due care, allow a dog to run at large, stray, or otherwise be off the owner's premises unless held on leash, subject to the exceptions found at MCL 287.262.
 A person who violates this ordinance is subject to a fine of up to $500. 

Fireworks Ordinance           
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the EAST BAY CHARTER TOWNSHIP board of trustees held a hearing during its regular meeting on May 13, 2013. The board received public comment on a proposed Consumer Fireworks Ordinance. The ordinance was adopted during that meeting and amended at the August 12, 2013 meeting.

During a major emergency, WTCM 103.5 FM and 580 AM are the designated Emergency Alert System representatives for North West Michigan including all of Grand Traverse County and the City of Traverse City.If there is a major emergency or a Local State of Emergency is declared, important information will be provided by tuning radios to 103.5 FM or580 AM.
