PFAS Alert

The Grand Traverse County Health Department has issued a press release regarding a PFAS investigation near Cherry Capital Airport and the U.S. Coast Guard Station. There will be a virtual town hall meeting on Monday, October 26 at 6 pm with representatives from EGLE, MDHHS, and GTCHD available to update residents on the potential PFAS contamination of private drinking wells in the area. Residents with wells suspected to be affected have been contacted by EGLE.
